Easi-Tennis for Adults
Easi-tennis is designed specifically for adults playing for the first time or coming back to the game after a long break. It's a great way to get active and get playing!
Tennis really is a sport for life! You are never too young or too old to learn to play. It can be as social or as competitive as you make it and can be played all year round! All you need is a racquet, a couple of tennis balls and a friend to play against. Injuries are few and far between as it is a safe, non contact sport.
Learning to play tennis or going back to the game after a break can be daunting. But with Easi-Tennis it's simple! Players learn tennis in a fun and friendly environment with people of a similar ability.
Local tennis clubs in Christchurch with the support of Canterbury Tennis are providing adults the opportunity to learn to play tennis. If you have always wanted to learn to play tennis but never felt comfortable stepping out on court, now is your chance to give it a go.
Enrolling on a course will give you the confidence to play and will teach you the basic skills of the game, enabling you to take to the court and have a hit with your children or your friends on those warm summer evenings.
Easi-Tennis is an established programme consisting of six one and a half hour weekly lessons with a professional coach. Each lesson focuses on a different stroke and covers tennis rules, scoring and etiquette of the game which makes it a fantastic way for adults to learn the game fast.
Class sizes are limited to 6-10 adults of a similar ability. This allows for a quality experience and provides every opportunity to learn tennis skills in a friendly and encouraging environment. Each participant will be given a course manual outlining each session allowing them to practice in between lessons.
